The X4 Night Sky filter delivers incredible starlight definition and true colour neutrality. As part of the the X4 range all Night Sky filters are weather-sealed within a rugged X4 traction frame as well as durable MRC16 and nanotec® coatings for easy and fast cleaning.

On the visible light spectrum artificial light pollution ranges between 570 to 610 nanometers . Artificial light pollution is likely to significantly reduce the definition of starlight by up to 50%. The orange colour cast common with most forms of artificial light decreases contrast between space and the stars within it, making an the otherwise black backdrop of space look orangish
